Half Craft Jewelry Sneak Peek

I’ve been hard at work on the new Half Craft line of 3D printed jewelry, and I’m so excited to share the first of the photos that will be up on the new Etsy shop next week. There’s plenty more where these came from. Here they are!prong studs together

How neat! Beautiful jewelry! I am excited to see where this printing technology leads us. There are so many unique possibilities for creating items that are so detailed we would have had trouble “sculpting,” them by hand. Do you enjoy working with the 3D printer? Any limitations that make things difficult to use? 🙂

    • I love 3D printing! One great thing that you can do that’s hard to do by hand is make moveable parts that are printed as one piece. In some of my jewelry I print pieces that would normally be connected with jump rings with everything all connected already, so it’s really seamless. You just have to be careful to adhere to the basic rules of each printing material, like making sure what you’re making is thick enough to print without breaking.

Sounds so mystifying to me! Keep up the beautiful work! 🙂 Oh, how wonderful it would be to not deal with those annoying jump rings.
